If you’ve only just read the news and you’ve figured out that the world is ending today, you’re probably curious to find out what time exactly it is so that you can plan your morning, and your afternoon if there is one. [Edit] while I had thought it was 6pm, now I have researched a new time. You believe me right?
What time will the world end? 6p 21st May 2011 says pork-chopper Harold Camping in a recent interview. [Edit] Now, we’ve already past the sell by date on that lie, so we’re looking at October 21st – no whammies.
Will that be local time? Yes – if your watch says 6pm, you’re toast. You may be able to give yourself a bit of extra time by running West as fast as you can, but sooner or later you’ll be tripping over airborne Christians exiting stage top.
Is there a pub showing the end of the world on TV near me? I hear you brothers and sisters. I too think worshiping at the frothy altar might be the best way to end your last day on the world, watching the suffering of remote others in HD. I’d check your local listings for events.
My cousin’s birthday is May 26th – should I send a card? If they’re a believer, and you’re not, then go ahead and send it. Otherwise there’s no real point.
Where can I see pictures of the world ending? There’s a May 21 set on flickr. I hope to see more footage closer to the day. If you are taking photos of the big event, make sure to upload your photos by 5:59Â local time.
So good news if you’re reading this before 6pm. You’ve still got time to do your laundry, inflate your dirigible, or go on a looting spree – whatever floats your boat.
