Photos up a hill in France

In July, five intrepid Europeans went to climb Mont Blanc. Mont Blanc is a big snowy hill in France and Italy.

Our team first climbed Mont Blanc de Tacul, a 4250m peak.

We camped in the snow at 3600m for a further four days waiting to climb Mont Blanc, La Dame Blanche. Each morning we awoke at 1am to check if the weather was clement enough for our 16 hour assault on the three peaks which would culminate in scaling the 4810m summit of Mont Blanc. Each morning, we returned to our tents when we witnessed the 60mph winds that would have otherwise blown us from the ridges.

In the end we returned to Chamonix and got thoroughly tipsy.

I took some photos, here they are.
