Least favourite punctuation of the week

The exclamation mark. What does it mean really?

“I think this sentence is a bit dull, but punctuation can save it!”

Worse still – the double exclamation mark. It’s for Fisher-Price sentences isn’t it?

“No Timmy, stay away from that giant mongoose!!”

“Aaarrghh!!!”
