Cadbury’s Boost with added glucose. Shaft me sideways with a pogo stick. Someone call Tate and Lyle, get them to put a shiny wrapper around half a pound of sugar and call it a snack. What were Cadbury’s thinking about?
Marketting 1: “I know, let’s take chocolate, right, and lets put more sugar in it, in case you hadn’t got enough of a rush from the bar. Which bar shall we do it to?”
Marketting 2: “Twix!”
Marketting 3: “Curly-wurly!”
Marketting 1: “I’ve got it, I’ve got it…. Boost! You know, like a boost, cos of all the sugar.”
Marketting 2: “Yeah! And we can call it ‘added Glucose’ so that no-one will figure it’s sugar.”
Marketting 1: “Nice.”
