I say, I say, I say.

Did you know that many species of ants have a social stomach? They keep food in there to feed to passing nestmates. So that’s why you don’t see any ants carrying a Power Rangers lunchbox. They are a Power Rangers lunchbox. Of course, some ants, like the honeypot ant, have such a bloated lunchbox, that they can’t leave the nest. They hang from the ceilings, acting as storage silos for nectar and water. It sounds kind of dirty, but it really isn’t.

In other news, I’m trying to guess what sort of force a vehicle exerts on a chassis, and how to attach reinforcing bars to chassis parts which appear to be as strong as, say, an empty soup can. I’m taking captainsodium‘s advice, and just letting all that fall out in the testing. Of course, any rational chassis designer doesn’t just put the biggest load-bearing member 3 feet above the ground. Then again, most chassis designers aren’t trying to make their cars look like ants. Nanowrimo is almost done. Now it’s time for Decoanto.
