Great unexpectations

After a truly fabulous evening of unmentionable fun last night involving four sixes and my embarcation on a career I saw on television, I knew getting up at 6am was going to be tough. It was my first night on my new mattress – four hours of sleep during which I was comfortable enough to sleep soundly and dream. I managed to wake up, and then completely failed to find the motorcycle training course location as the sun rose over Austin. This ticked me off no end. A Garreth without sleep has no fuse and a fury akin to a woman scorned. In the vernacular, I fucked it off, and went home to bed.

I woke up to a few calls, and got out of bed after some more dreams. Dreams that had been sadly lacking in my life lately, given my prior lack of mattress. I was in a foul mood, and decided to write the day off and focus on sleep and staying away from people. Despite this resolve, I met a few folk here and there, and finally returned home to eat and sleep, and possibly file some taxes as punishment for my bad mood. valkyriie had a visitor, and chatting was pleasant tonic, especially not having to leave the house. And lovely lovely people phoned and invited me to do things, which melted my stony mood. Thank you for your kind invitations. It somehow hit a nerve, made me realise I’d been taking myself too seriously all day, and perked me up no end.

Muchos grassy arse.
