Somehow I managed to volunteer to help out in a play that opens in a local theatre on Thursday. The best thing about the whole gig is that theatre lovies seem to think that English accents are a boon. It’s as if they think acting was invented in England. Meeting the actors resulted in me talking normally. The actors assumed that I was putting on an English accent. The actors would then reply in their best English accents. Just like being in the home counties.
The play is jolly interesting. If you’re in the area, I heartily recommend it.
