Conversations in a field

“I was wandering around in my blanket on the way back to the tent last night. Most other people were in t-shirts.”

“Yeah, there’s something wrong with your body temperature regulation. You were wearing a blanket while you were sitting in the sun yesterday. Sun that scorched my skin, and made all the tents into unbearable saunas.”

“Good buy these blankets.”

“Yeah, true.”

“Except for their propensity to pick up bits of grass.”

“And to cover all of your clothes in fluff.”

“And your beards.”

“What, you got fluff on both your beards?”

“No. Well not that kind of fluff.”

“Ah.”

“I still prefer to wear about six layers of clothes, in case it gets cold and wet at night.”

“Don’t you find that a little restrictive?”

“A bit. Stops me dancing around too much though.”

“Can’t be a bad thing.”

“There’s plenty of other people to do the dancing about for me.”
