Tongue-Thaied

Breakfast – a bacon and edge sandwich from a Thai cafe, from a Thai bloke called Jeff.

Lunch – a foetid old man’s smelling of wee pub. With ‘authentic’ Thai food, and a curious barmaid who is neither Thai nor English, and seems to struggle with communication to staff and customers alike.

Dinner – perhaps one of the plethora of Thai outlets in London.

I love Thai food. But why would Thai people want to live and work in England? Maybe for the same reason I do – so I can go and build a hut on a beach in Thailand and sit about doing nothing for a year or two later. Nice.
